Lamb's Players Theatre announced today that MIXTAPE - the Greatest Hits of the 80s, now playing at the Horton Grand Theatre in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, will extend again, going on to enter its 4th year in 2013.
The show was scheduled to close December 15th. "But when people heard it was ending," said Lamb's Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth, "we received a rush of interest. "Wait, I haven't seen it yet" or "I really want to see it one more time." Ok. We'll keep it going a bit longer."
MIXTAPE will close for the holidays on December 15th and reopen January 10th, running thru February 17th.
Created by Lamb's Company members, Jon Lorenz, Colleen Kollar Smith and Kerry Meads, MIXTAPE has become San Diego's favorite show, running longer than any other production that started here.
The production, which has employed over 30 local performers and band members, continues to play to enthusiastic houses of all ages.
MIXTAPE by Jon Lorenz and Colleen Kollar Smith, with Kerry Meads, is directed by Kerry Meads with musical direction by Jon Lorenz and choreography by Colleen Kollar Smith.
