Theater events at Mira Mesa include a musical theater gala and the annual Drama Festival, a showcase of one-act adaptations of plays and musicals. Students also have the opportunity to join the school's drama club which is actively involved in the gala and drama festival.

The Theatre Program will next present LES MISERABLES starring Albert Nguyen as Jean Valjean, Chelsea Schneider as Fantine, Andres Jaramillo as Javert, Shane Bushouer as Marius and Betsy Podsiadio as Cosette. Performances will take place March 15 thru 23, 2013. For more information, click here.

The school also offers other performing arts activities including Band/Marching Band, Orchestra, Choir/Madrigals, Color Guard and a Dance/Drill Team. The school's marching band had the honor of participating in the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremonies in 2000.
